PUBG Mobile India : Pre-registrations From 18th May
Krafton just recently announced the pre-registration date for Battlegrounds mobile India. Pre-registration will go live on 18th May on the google play store.
A lot of people thought that Pubg was dead for India. But it came back specifically for Indian gamers. After a huge demand in India, Krafton is bringing back the Battlegrounds Mobile India, which is just a rename to PUBG Mobile India.

Krafton Inc. a South Korean video game company relaunching the Indian version of their game PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds (PUBG). This will call by their new name Battlegrounds Mobile India. This mobile game was announced on 6th May by krafton, specifically for the Indian gamers community.
When the Indian govt. caught 119 apps for incorrect management of user’s data, they removed those apps from Google play store and Apple app store, including PUBG Mobile. In reply, the game developers said they’ll totally make a new game in the same form as Pubg Mobile, certainly which follows the local government’s terms & conditions. Meanwhile, Krafton bought a totally new entity, Battlegrounds Mobile India. Therefore the company said that it will be different from the original version of Pubg.
Release Date for India
After being banned in the country last year, Pubg is officially coming back to India again. Krafton made an announcement on 6th May for the official relaunch of Pubg Mobile. Certainly, they announced the Pre-registrations which will open on May 18th. The teaser that the company shared on social media, indicates the solar eclipse which is happening on June 10th. With this theory, the game could launch in early June.
A Request to Youtube Content Creators From Krafton Inc.
Last year in September, the Indian government banned 119 Chinese apps including Pubg Mobile. Therefore the game is now coming back, but not with the same title Pubg Mobile. As confirmed by Krafton Inc. the popular battle royale game will launch soon in India by the name Battlegrounds Mobile India. Reportedly Krafton has sent a request to content creators to stop using the term Pubg Mobile. They also said to stop referring Battlegrounds Mobile India as Pubg Mobile India. In other words, they worried about getting banned again.
What Are The Differences in Battlegrounds India
The company has made some major differences or should I say, changes in their rules and regulations. Krafton clearly mentioned on their website what personal data they collect & store. They guarantee security and data protection for all users. Krafton limit the in-app purchases daily limit to Rs.7000. For users below the age of 18, have to provide their parent’s mobile number for verification & they are only permitted to play 3 hours a day.
In conclusion, krafton wants to remove the linking of Pubg mobile from Battlegrounds India. The company clearly wants to avoid another ban. As a result, they have been focusing more on player’s security & privacy.
